A brief timeline:

1976 - in the midst of kindergarten, I move from North Babylon to Lindenhurst (Long Island).

1983 - after fifth grade I move from Lindenhurst to Oyster Bay.

1985 - after seventh grade I move from Oyster Bay to Coram.

1989 - graduate from Longwood High School. On 15 August I leave for the Navy, and do boot camp in San Diego (not as tough as Chicago, not as soft as Orlando).

1989-95 - Sonar school, sub school, USS Francis Scott Key (SSBN657B). I lived in Charleston SC, San Diego CA, and Pearl Harbor HI.

1996-98 - Suffolk Community College, Selden, Long Island.

1998-2000 - NYU. Living in Queens.

2000-Present - living in Queens and teaching 7th grade Humanities and HS English in Manhattan.
